This page has some photos from my art niche upgrade in foyer. I have completed this project about a year ago. Hope it inspires you to do something with empty space in your foyer :)

It's a custom made in-wall art niche that was built from scratch. I had to make a custom wooden box and fit it in through the stairwell which is behind the front door entrance.
